Product Guide
Ask Spikerz is an AI-powered search that lets you ask questions about your data in plain language, instead of navigating through different sections to find an answer. Just ask, and Ask Spikerz reads your Spikerz data and replies with a clear answer.
You can ask about the three areas Spikerz protects - Security, Comments, and Impersonators - for questions like "Which of my accounts don't have 2FA enabled?" or "What's the sentiment trend in my comments this month?".
This guide explains how to open Ask Spikerz, ask questions, understand the answers, and use skills and chat history.
Opening Ask Spikerz
Select the Ask Spikerz button to open the assistant. It opens as a chat where you can start typing right away. You can also start a conversation from the chat on your Overview page. On mobile, you'll find Ask Spikerz in the main menu.
Asking a Question
Type your question in natural language and send it with the send button or the Enter key. If you're not sure where to start, use the suggested prompts, grouped into three menus:
Security - for example, "Who currently has admin access to my accounts?" or "What's my overall security coverage across all my accounts?"
Comments - for example, "How many comments did all assets get this week?" or "What are the top spam categories in my comments this week?"
Impersonators - for example, "How many impersonators of my accounts were detected this month?" or "Which of my accounts is impersonated the most?"
Select a suggested prompt to drop it into the chat, then send it as-is or edit it first.
Understanding the Answer
Ask Spikerz shows its progress while it works, and you can stop a response at any time. Each answer can include:
References - links at the end of the answer that take you to the relevant page, already filtered, so you can dig deeper.
Artifacts - inline cards for the underlying data, such as comments, alerts, activity log entries, users, impersonators, and assets.
Follow-up suggestions - related next questions you can select to keep exploring.
For each answer you can also Copy it, mark it with Like or Unlike to help us improve, or Retry to generate it again.
Ask Spikerz can make mistakes, so a disclaimer reminds you to double-check important results on the relevant page.
Attaching Files
You can add a file to your question - Ask Spikerz supports images, PDFs, and CSV files. Use the attach option in the chat to include one.
Skills
Skills are reusable instructions you can save and reuse in any conversation — handy for questions or formats you ask for often.
Create and manage skills from Agent personalization in your workspace settings. Each skill needs a name and instructions.
To use a skill in the chat, type / and choose it from the list, or start typing its name to filter.
Chat History
Your past conversations are saved so you can return to them. Open the history to see your chats from newest to oldest, and use a chat's menu to Rename or Delete it. Deleting a chat asks you to confirm first.
What Ask Spikerz Can and Can't Do
Ask Spikerz is built to help you explore your own data safely:
It's read-only - it can answer questions but can't take actions for you, such as changing settings or removing access. When something needs an action, it points you to the right screen.
It answers only about your Spikerz data - not the general web, and not other customers or industry benchmarks.
It works best in English.
To keep things fair for everyone, Ask Spikerz has a usage limit. If you reach it, you'll see a message letting you know it will be available again shortly. Normal use won't hit this limit — you'll just see your answers.
