To allow Spikerz to monitor and protect your YouTube channel/Brand account, granting Google permissions access is required.

This connection enables:

Spikerz uses official platform integrations to securely monitor your account without storing passwords.

By completing this guide, you will:

Make sure:

⚠️ For each Spikerz workspace, a dedicated monitoring email is generated.
Please generate the email in the workspace settings before starting:

Step 1: Access workspace settings and select "Connect business hub"

​Step 2: Select YouTube tenant

​Step 3: Select the YouTube assets to set up the scanning:

​Step 4: Copy the generated email and proceed set up:

Go to: https://www.youtube.com/ and log in with the Google account connected to your YouTube channel.

Open the settings dropdown at the top right corner and locate "YouTube Studio" in the list:

In the YouTube Studio interface, at bottom left, select "Settings":

Go to "Permissions" in the side bar and insert the "dedicated email address".

Make sure to select "Manager" access, and Save (invite will be sent).

After the invite is sent, Spikerz will automatically approve the intvitation and proactively start monitoring your channel.

Log in with the Google account that has access to the Brand Account

In the brands accounts list, select the right account you'd like to set up the connection with.

After selecting the right brand account, access its permission (a verification procedure might pop up at this stage):

After the invite is sent, Spikerz will automatically approve the invitation and proactively start monitoring your brand account.
