Introduction

Phishing and scam attempts are becoming more common across platforms like Meta, where attackers use email templates to trick you into granting access to your Facebook Page or Business Suite.
To protect you from these threats, Spikerz includes an Email Risk Scanner that analyzes emails for signs of fraud, impersonation, or harmful intent.

Our system scans each email using four security parameters:

1. Email Type

We evaluate the email format, structure, and content to determine if the message is risky, misleading, or contains requests that could compromise your account.

2. Sender Verification

Spikerz checks the source of the email to identify whether it was sent from a legitimate Meta system or from a suspicious or unknown sender.

3. Links Analysis

Every link inside the email is scanned to detect phishing URLs, malicious redirects, suspicious domains, or unsafe websites.

4. Content Review

We examine the text itself to detect harmful language, unusual permissions requests, or content that may pose a security risk to your social media assets.

What Happens if Something Is Detected?

If our system identifies a threat, you will see a High Risk or Suspicious badge on the email.

At this stage, we strongly recommend:

  • Do NOT interact with the email.

  • Escalate it to your IT team or CISO.

  • Notify Spikerz so we can advise you on next steps.
