Introduction

As part of protecting your social media accounts, Spikerz gives you the option to automatically remove unauthorized users from your Facebook assets.

This feature is available for role-based platforms like Facebook, where different people can have Admin, Editor, or other permission levels.

As part of the need to protect your social media account, Spikerz offers you the option to auto-remove access to unauthorized users.

Why This Matters

On Facebook, giving someone access to your Page or Business Manager means giving them a level of control over your brand.
With Spikerz, you can ensure that only approved people stay inside—and anyone else is automatically removed.

How to Get Started

Step 1 - Activate Auto-Remove on Facebook

  1. Go to Settings inside Spikerz.

  2. Find the Auto-Remove Permissions section.

  3. Toggle Facebook ON.

Once activated, any user who is not on your approved list inside Spikerz will be automatically removed from your Facebook Page or Business assets.

🔒 This feature currently works only with Facebook.

Step 2 - Add Approved Users in Spikerz Before Giving Them Access

Before adding anyone to your Facebook assets, you must first add them to your Approved Permissions List inside Spikerz.

  1. Go to the Permissions page.

  2. Tap “Add User”.

  3. Add the person you want to approve.

If a user is not added here first, Spikerz will auto-remove them from Facebook—even if you gave them access manually.

Step 3 - Add the User to Facebook

After adding them in Spikerz:

  1. Go to your Facebook Business settings.

  2. Add the user and assign the appropriate role.

By following this process (Spikerz → Facebook), you ensure that access stays consistent and the system does not revoke it.

Additional Tools & Options

Filter Pending Users

You can filter users who are pending approval—these may require external setup before the feature fully applies.

Revoke Access Manually

If you see a suspicious name or someone you no longer want to give access to, you can manually revoke them inside Spikerz before they ever touch your Facebook assets.

Best Practices

  • Always add users to Spikerz before giving them access on Facebook.

  • Regularly review your approved list to ensure only trusted team members remain.

  • Use filters to stay organized and quickly identify users requiring action.
